Two existing apartments at 5 Star Lane, Queenstown were completely transformed into one spacious, cohesive home. The interiors were taken back to the structure, with more than a cubic metre of redundant wiring removed before the full rebuild could begin.
Completed in just three and a half months, this extensive renovation included a new kitchen, scullery and laundry, along with a new main bathroom and ensuite. New insulation and heating were installed throughout, creating a warmer, more comfortable home designed for modern Queenstown living.
High-spec finishes were used throughout the interior. Engineered timber flooring was installed through selected areas, while the bathrooms were fully tiled and finished with high-quality fixtures, colour-matched handles and carefully considered detailing. The ensuite features a bath and an open double shower, creating a generous and relaxing private space.
Grooved MDF detailing through the entrance and stairwell is continued across the matching internal doors, helping connect the different areas of the home. A new schist fireplace with a rustic timber mantel creates a strong focal point, while the glass balustrade, colour-matched fixings and client-designed slatted handrail complete the transformation.
“Johnno and his team at JMI Construction have been outstanding.
They got our renovation completed on time and with the highest quality workmanship.
Any changes that we encountered were solved quickly and didn’t hold up the building process. Johnno has a good relationship with his sub-contractors and uses people that have the same high standards that he does, so there are no issues with poor quality work.
I recommend Johnno and his team 100% .”
